Biography

Born in London in 1949, Reverend Richard Kirby studied at the General Seminary (Episcopal) of the city of New York, and obtained a doctorate in theology from King’s College London. He is president of Richard Kirby Enterprises based in Seattle, Washington, and Executive director of the “Stuart C.Dodd” Institute for social innovation, an international institute based in Seattle.

As well as being a consultant to the United Nations, Kirby teaches at the Washington Business School (http://weber.u.washington.edu/~drkirby), the Seattle Pacific University, the University of Puget Sound, and Bastyr University.
He is international president of the “World Network of Religious Futurists”, and also president of the “Youth Committee of Professional Members Forum of the World Future Society”.

From 1992 to 1994 Kirby was international director of administration of “International Mensa”.
He has been a member of the British Authors Society since. His latest books are Temples of Tomorrow (written with Earl Brewer) and Christians and the World of Computers (written with Parker Rossman).
