Biography
Pera Tantiñá is a member of the Catalan theatre group Fura dels Baus (fura@teknoland.es) founded in Barcelona in 1979. The
company brings together an eclectic group of artists who have created their own style of
live theatre combining elements of theatre, the plastic arts and music. The result is an
"integrated spectacle" in which there is no stage as such and where the
spectator plays an active role.
Their continual experimentation has culminated in an original work of digital theatre,
"Work in Progress" (http://lafura.upc.es/wip/eng_toc.htm
 ), which uses
telecommunications and advanced technologies, including the Internet, to create a fusion
of ideas of artists from different cultures and disciplines, as well as the input from
spectators and websurfers. |
