Biography
Director in Montreal of the French TV channel La Cinquième/La Sept Arte
and Secretary General of AITED (International Association of Educational and Discovery
Television Companies) Lecat has been responsible at Télé Quebec for a television project
for La Cinquième and La Sept Arte since December 1997. He is also responsible for setting
up the thematic channel Le Réseau des Arts, in collaboration with Radio Canada. |

| Lecat was a journalist, producer and radio and TV presenter from 1970 to 1983. From
1983 to 1993 he was director of communication in several French companies: FNAC, La Cité
del Sciences et de l'Industrie, Péchiney. Until December 1997 he was director of
development and international affairs at La Cinquième Développement, a subsidiary of
La Cinquième. Since 1991 he has been "maître de conférence" at the
Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. |
