Biography
Advisor to the president and director of international activities of Médiamétrie, the
French audience measurement company for television, radio, cinema, the Internet and
multimedia.
Born in 1948, Braun graduated in economics and has a PhD in applied economics. He
joined SOFRES in 1979 as head of research of the consumer committee. From 1974 to 1975 he
was responsible for market research at UNISABI in the MARS group. In 1975 he was nominated
director responsible for research into radio and television programming quality at CEO
(Centre of Opinion Research). He has been director of research and marketing for France
and Italy at Radio Monte Carlo since 1978. He joined Médiamétrie in 1989 as advisor to
the president and has been managing director for international activities and
diversification since 1995. |
