BiographyResident in the Netherlands, Paul Baan studied civil engineering at a technical college, and economics at university. Before joining the Baan Company, he worked in the construction and housing industry. He joined Baan Info Systems B.V. in 1981 as General Manager. As the Baan Company grew and expanded globally throughout the 80's and early 90's, Mr. Baan took on a variety of management positions. |

| Today, Baan is the Chief Executive Officer of Baan Investment B.V., the holding company for Baan Business Innovation, Baan Business Systems, Baan Business Associates and the Baan Institute among others. Paul Baan is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Directors of the Baan Company. |  |
