Biography

Ed Zander has been President of Sun Microsystems Computer Company (SMCC), international supplier of client-server solutions, since February 1995. Born in 1946, Zander has held a number of management posts in Sun since 1987, first as Vice-President of Marketing of Sun Microsystems, Inc., then, from 1992 to 1995, as President of SunSoft, supplier of Solaris, the most widely-used UNIX operating system in the world.
