Biography

Mauro Wolf (http://www.baskerville.it/h/Wolf/home.html ) graduated in Florence and became an assistant lecturer at the University of Urbino. From 1975 he taught in Bologna, first at DAMS and then on the Communication Science course as Professor of the Sociology of Communication, a role he fulfilled until his death in 1996.

He was also the Director of VQPT, carrying out research on light entertainment programmes for the Italian public service broadcaster RAI.In 1994 he founded and was Director of the Biblioteca di Scienze della Comunicazione of the Centro Studi Baskerville. He was also Scientific Director of the refresher courses of the Swiss Italian School of Journalism.
