Interview
BiographyTomaso Tommasi di Vignano was born in Brescia in 1947. He is married with two children and lives in Rome. Graduating in Law from the University of Padua in 1970, he immediately began his career in SIP in the Venice area. |

| In 1989 he was nominated head of Personnel and Organisation at the General Directorate in Rome. In 1992 he was appointed Director General of IRITEL, becoming Managing Director the following year. In May 1994 he was nominated Director General of Telecom Italia and in January 1997 Managing Director STET. He became Managing Director of Telecom Italia in April 1997. |  |
