Biography
Mark Pesce is theoretician of cyber-space. After ten years at Shiva Corporation he left
in 1991 to found the Ono-Sendai Corporation, a company involved in the development of
virtual reality. He left Ono-Sendai in 1993 and began working at Labyrinth, a prototype of
the VRML. As moderator of the VRML-mailing list on the Internet, Pesce works to ensure
that VRML remains an open standard and grows in a completely interactive cyber-space. An
experience writer, he contributes regularly to reviews such as Wired, Mondo 2000, Morph's
Outpost and ZDNet. |
