Biography
Born in New York City, Barton Kunstler (bkunstler@lesley.edu)
Barton Kunstler earned his Bachelor of Arts at State University of New York at Stony Brook
in 1971 and received his doctorate in classics from Boston University. Dr. Kunstler is
Associate Professor at the Lesley College School of Management in Cambridge,
Massachusetts, USA, and Program Director of its General Education programs. He has
developed and delivered programs in creativity, strategic thinking, globalization, and
communications at Lesley and for various other organizations.
Dr. Kunstler is an experienced facilitator and has directed and moderated symposia on
globalization and creativity as well as organizational retreats.
Current research focuses on key factors in the formation and maintenance of highly
creative groups, with related interests in whole-mind learning and the interface between
institutional and cognitive structures. In addition, he is producing educational and
training materials for a world trade network of the International Chambers of Commerce and
the G77 group of "developing" nations, part of his growing involvement in
electronic commerce. |
