Biography

Robert Kreisa is the President of Criminal Justice Associates, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in Law Enforcement Consulting and Training.
Kreisa holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from UW- Platteville and a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from UW-Milwaukee. He was the Chief of the Sheboygan and Stevens Point, WI police departments.

Kreisa and Criminal Justice Associates have provided law enforcement training and consulting in many areas of law enforcement. Specialty areas in include strategic planning, reengineering, organizational development, change management, communications, information management, technology, and the Internet. He has instructed police investigators and commanders nation wide on technology and Internet related topics. Criminal Justice Associates, Inc. also provides training and technical assistance to law enforcement agencies in all areas of computer crime.

He has provided instructional services for many organizations, including the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Northwestern University Traffic Institute, and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. He has also been a consultant for the IACP, the Community Policing Consortium, and other law enforcement agencies and organizations, conducting management studies and strategic planning in law enforcement and other government and non-profit organizations. Kreisa and Criminal Justice Associates were awarded a contract by the Wisconsin Department of Justice to conduct a statewide strategic planning process to re-evaluate and recommend changes to the recruit training process.

Kreisa is an instructor in a national training program called "Protecting Children On-Line". The program is a joint venture between the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and Fox Valley Technical College.

Kreisa serves on the Board of Directors of Police Futurists International and the Legislative Committees of the IACP and the Police Executive Research Forum. He also served a term on the Executive Committee of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
