Biography

Born in Turin in 1949, Giovanni Ferrero is currently an executive in the information technology, telecommunications and statistics sector of the Piemonte Regional Authority.

After graduating in electronic engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin in 1972, he began his career in new technologies and public administration.

From 1975 to 1985 he was regional councillor in the Piemonte Regional Authority. From 1993 to 1997 he was councillor responsible for strategic projects for the Turin City Council.
