of film editing in Hollywood has switched to digital nonlinear editing technology. Today,
the Avid Film Composer is the recognized leader in supplying creative tools and technology
to the film industry.

Avid's Multicamera Editing System and in February 1999, the Avid Film Composer will be
recognized and awarded the OscarR statuette for its impact on film-making.
