Biography
Dennis McKenna is CEO and Editor-in-Chief of "Government Technology", an
American monthly publication covering information technology applications and public
policy at the state and local government level, which has over 60,000 readers.
McKenna is also founding publisher or two regional publications, "California
Computer News" and "California County".
Before launching Government Technology, McKenna worked in various capacities on
legislative advocacy and public interest issues such as Freedom of Information Act,
privacy and public records.
He attended the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
McKenna is a board member for the Information Technology Association of America's
subcommittee on state and local government. He is also a member of the Board of Directors
of the Government Technology Program at the University of Colorado, served on the
Intergovernmental Committee of the National Performance Review and is a recognised leader
and speaker in the field of information technology application and policy in government. |
