Biography
Professor Floridi is reader in Philosophy at Wolfson College, Oxford and Professor of
Philosophy at St Anne's College, Oxford. He studied philosophy at "La Sapienza"
in Rome and was awarded an M. Phil. and Ph.D. in Philosophy at Warwick University. |

| He has published numerous articles on epistemology, the transmission of texts, the
history of scepticism and humanist information science. He is the editor of Iter Italicum
on CD-ROM (Brill: Leiden,1995). The Extension of the Mind - An Introduction to Information
and Communication Technology for Philosophers (Rome: Armando, 1996). |
