Biography
Director of Development and International Relations at the Cité des Sciences et de
l'Industrie at La Villette, Paris. Until 1970 he was a research scientist at M.I.T.
(Massacchussets Institute of Tecnology) and scientific attaché to the French Embassy in
the United States.
He was Scientific Director of the venture capital group, European Enterprises
Development Company and from 1975 to 1985 Director of Research Applications at the Pasteur
Institute in Paris. He has received many awards, including the Prix de l'Academie des
Sciences Morales et Politiques,1975; Prix de l'Information scientifique de l'Academie des
Sciences, 1990; and Prix Benjiamin Costant de la Société d'Encouragement de l'Industrie
Nationale. He is Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur and Officier de l'Ordre National du
Mérite. |
