Biography
Sanjaya Addanki was appointed Vice President of the Business e-mail, Messaging and
Collaborative Solutions division of the e-business group of IBM in February 1998.
Previously he was responsabile for marketing and sales in the Consulting, Systems
Architecture Development and Solutions, Technical Support for Network Computing and
Inter-industry Solutions sector, as Director General of Network Computing Solutions of IBM
Europe, Middle East and Africa. |

| Addanki graduated in information science in 1983. After rising rapidly in the field of
the development of advanced technology including robotics and image processing, he held
several management positions, in particular in IBM's research division, where he was in
charge of the restructuring of the IT infrastructure, reducing costs and modernising the
service. He was director of the Solutions and Strategy division, where he developed and
implemented the Solutions sector for IBM Europe, the Middle East and Africa. |
